Natural Hair Loss Treatments

There are different types of hair loss as well as reasons for hair loss. Male pattern baldness is perhaps the most commonly discussed hair loss. Male pattern baldness occurs when the hair follicles die. There is no way to re-grow hair from a dead hair follicle. A man suffering from male pattern baldness has three options open to him when it comes to dealing with this condition:
1. Wear a wig or hair piece
2. Shave your head, shrug it off and just be confident in yourself
3. Hair restoration treatments (such as hair plugs)

No one is sure why any man suffers from male pattern baldness, although it is believed to be genetic. Women can also suffer from this disease, but it is very rare that they go completely bald.

You have probably seen hair loss treatments on the market and wondered if they can work on male pattern baldness. Save your money. There is nothing to date that can bring dead hair follicles back to life. Only hair plugs are the option if you want to wear hair.

Now there are many other types of hair loss, also called alopecia. Many of these are caused by a number of different factors. They include:
Stress
Pregnancy
Medications
Chemotherapy
Illness

If you are suffering from hair loss and do not know the reason, talk to your doctor. If it is male pattern baldness, you will know that there is not much you can do. If it is temporary problem, however, you can take medications and ointments that can re-grow your hair once the reason for the hair loss condition has been absolved.

Scalp massages are one way that you can increase hair growth to regions where there has been hair loss but it will regrow. There are also some oils, such as Vitamin E oil, that can promote hair growth. As hair growth comes from inside the scalp, you need to have a balanced diet and be in generally good health to promote hair growth. The hair that you see outside of your scalp and on your body is already dead. The follicle beneath he skin is alive. To keep the follicles in good health, you have to be in good health. Vitamin E as well an the B vitamins can help you get back into good health.

If your hair loss is due to pregnancy or having a baby, relax. It will grow back once your hormones level out. This hair loss is not balding, but thinning hair. The same goes for someone suffering from chemotherapy hair loss. Once the chemo treatments end, you will be fine and your hair will return.

As you get older, you will naturally lose hair and it will get thinner. This goes for both men and women. Taking care of your hair by not frying it with too many heat treatments and color processing can help. The most important way to maintain good hair growth, however, is within your diet. Eating a diet high in the B vitamins and incorporating Vitamin E into your diet will make a difference when it comes to hair growth.
